For many people, a red leather jacket conjures up images of Michael Jackson in Thriller. You know what? I’m totally okay with it. Last year, I bought my first real leather jacket – a deep purple Iro that I wear at every opportunity. The leather is so soft and feels buttery to the touch. Since I love and wear it so much, I was ok with splurging on the rockstar red! I think the slightly shrunken fit, combined with the washed-out color makes the look less slick and costumey. While it’s so easy to pair with black, I also love wearing it with grays and nudes. In this particular instance, I paired the structured moto jacket with a slinky champagne slip-dress. The liquid gold number is strappy and sexy, but still comfortable and airy.
