You ever have an outfit that you feel is totally mom-approved! Well not only is this dress totally lady-like, I could see my mom rocking it as well. White is probably the majority of my summer wardrobe. It looks fresh, clean, and always chic! I love the way it looks on bronzed skin, so its definitely one of my favorite colors to wear.

With spring holidays coming up…Mother’s Day, Easter, etc… I was in the market for a new Spring dress that was appropriate for family functions, but that I could throw on for any easy, breezy warm day. Enter this white stunner from Gianni Bini.  I’m in love with the ladylike midi length and flattering fit-and-flare shape. However, what I love most is the grommeted details that add some heavy-metal edge. It makes this dress pretty, but not too sweet! For my look, I opted for simple nude strappy sandals (my favorite are the Stuart Weitzman nudist), and my ever-present straw hat!

I’ll be rocking this look for Easter and springtime teas with mom. When it gets cooler in the evening, I can’t wait to throw on a denim jacket to complete the look. Here’s hoping mom doesn’t steal this out of my closet!

Last weekend we had the most amazing weather that was reminiscent of early summer. The clearest skies and the brightest sunshine had everyone outside, clamoring for brunch on a patio! For me, I was happy to ditch my sweaters and leather jacket for the weekend. Jason and I spend the day walking around the shops of Buckhead and having a cocktail (or two!).

Because of the crisp air and strong sunshine, I opted for an off-the-shoulder top that I had originally planned to put away for the summer. Lately I’ve had warm weather outfits on my mind since I’ll be heading to Miami for my friend Alexa’s bachelorette party. Since I’m stocking up on my vacation-wear, I’ve been looking for more items that won’t break the bank. You may have seen this recent Self-Portrait inspired dress, and this top was another amazing find that I could resist! Because summer isn’t here to stay, I wore my new top with my studded jeans that are my go-to’s season after season. However, I can totally see this flirty off the shoulder number with both shorts and white jeans. Lastly, I finished my look with mirrored Dior sunglasses and my favorite pair of nude sandals. Since that perfect Saturday, the weather has cooled down again and my top took its place in the back of my closet. But, I know that’s only temporary, and I can’t wait to wear this pick over and over again this season!

Linen Top: Gianni Bini (Only $29.40!).  Jeans: L’Agence Sold Out.  Sunnies: Dior.  Sandals: Stuart Weitzman Sold Out (Similar).

A Date Night Jumpsuit

So my date night looks have evolved quite a bit over the years. I remember in high school, it was low-rise jeans a dressy top. College years saw the height of my sundress obsession. Recently, my go-to date night look is a jumpsuit!

There’s something comfortable, yet so put together about a jumpsuit. In the past, I’ve worn strappy ones, long-sleeved ones, casual ones, and my latest is unique in it’s own right. I feel like this jumpsuit by Donna Morgan is a feminine and modern take on a tuxedo look. The black and white stunner has a dressy, strapless bodice and a wide, cropped leg. I love the dramatic and cascading ruffles that really take this look from simple to special. Lastly, I love the price!

To finish off my look, I added some glitzy and geometric earrings that really scream “Date Night!” All in all, this occasion look made a romantic evening in Charleston even more special. And… I didn’t break the bank!
