A Daniel Wellington Holiday

Hi Dolls! How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? I enjoyed my holiday spending time with family and exploring Atlanta during a couple extra days off. My brother flew in from Ireland and we ate, drank, and of course did some damage shopping. I showed him the sights of the city and he especially loved Ponce City Market, which is an indoor/outdoor shopping area and dining hall. Think Chelsea Market in New York, but with some Southern charm!

One of the stores we loved visiting was the Daniel Wellington boutique. I recently got my first DW watch, and let me say the compliments haven’t stopped rolling in. With it’s classic design and sleek aesthetic, it goes with everything I wear and the rose gold tone is beyond stunning! Besides my watch, I also opted for a matching cuff which I think really sets off this timepiece, adding a little something extra in terms of style.

Another thing I love about my watch (mine is the Classic Petite Melrose) is the size of the face. Forget the pun, but it really is timeless. I have another watch that was near and dear to my heart, but unfortunately it now feels heavy and clunky on my wrist. I think the DW is classically chic and something I can wear year after year.

In addition to my rose gold beauty, Daniel Wellington has such a variety of options that fit every personality and style. And as all of the straps are interchangeable, you can have a different watch for every day of the week. Just what I love!

Well as you can tell, I’m pretty much obsessed with my watch, and it’s made it onto my gift list for Jason this Christmas. It can also be on yours….and with a special discount too! Just for reading, you can get an additional 15% off with the promo code “BrownPaperDoll”. With free shipping and free returns, it makes the perfect holiday gift!

Thank you to Daniel Wellington for sponsoring this post

Shoes are my weakness. And that’s the understatement of the century. I firmly believe a good pair of shoes can change your outfit…maybe your life. Hey, it worked for Cinderella!

In all seriousness, I’m addicted to shoes. Heels, sneakers, espadrilles, boots…you name it, I’ve got it! And a good pair (whether it be comfort or style) really can make an outfit and put some extra pep in your step. I know I feel extra special with a new pair of pumps before an interview, all the while feeling extra glam with a new pair of heels before an event or party!

Well this year I was on the hunt for a new statement shoe to get me through the holidays. I wanted something festive but practical at the same time- luxurious, but not something that would break the bank. Well, I looked no further than DSW. With their wide variety of styles, I found these velvet beauties that are perfect to wear with jeans to work, or dress up for a holiday party! Plus, I love that DSW has the newest trends…including velvet! My favorite part? These were less than $70! It’s a holiday miracle!

So I know you dolls have lots going on this season and if you’re in need (or just want!) some new shoes to add to your collection, make sure to check out DSW for the latest selection of footwear. PLUS, this weekend they are having the best Black Friday sale. Make sure to go online or head to the store for details.

Happy shoe hunting babes! Xo

Hi Dolls,

Happy pre-Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week and wrapping up items at work in preparation for the holiday. Speaking of work, I’m really excited to share with you the last of the looks from my recent collaboration with Brunello Cucinelli!

If you’re a frequent visitor to BPD, then you might have seen my recent weekend and evening looks featuring the brand. So what’s left you ask? The work week of course!

I often say that my workwear uniform consists of a pair of distressed jeans, a white collared shirt, and some sort of luxe accessory, whether it be a shoe, scarf, or jewelry.  Well in partnering with Cucinelli, I was able to stick to my workwear staples, but take my look to the next level of Italian luxury.  For my look, I opted for tuxedo jeans – a little more glitzy than my usual pair, a billowy chiffon blouse (with tank underneath) and the key to my signature work look – a slip-on loafer.  I wear my usual pair almost every day, but these take the cake with their shiny fringe detail.  Because of the recent chill that’s hit Atlanta, I topped off my look with a charcoal mohair coat. And finally…probably my favorite piece of the entire collaboration was the two-tone fox fur scarf! I would wear this every day if I could, and think understated blush and grey color palette is just heavenly. I usually wear a navy stole, but I loved the versatility of the lighter color, plus the contrast against my hair.  It’s absolutely my fav! Of course, want details on all of the items? Make sure to click the links below! Love the look, but want it for less? I’ve also got you covered with links below!
