The Nap Dress

The Nap Dress

2020 has been a wild year, and multiple trends have emerged as a result of our new routines and quarantined lifestyles. One such trend is the nap dress! And I have to say, I’m feeling very lucky that this trend took off in the middle of my pregnancy. What is a nap dress you ask? As Who What Wear describes them, nap dresses “can be slipped on without fuss, are comfortable and non-restrictive, can be worn without a bra, and tend to suit all body shapes. They blur the lines between what you might wear to bed and what you might wear to a fancy brunch.”

While we’ve been staying at home, the nap dress is perfect for an afternoon on the couch, but also amazing for running errands in comfort.  I was recently gifted my very own nap dress from Hill House Home from the girls at Spanx who wanted me to have something comfortable for my pregnancy and beyond. I recently wore mine to a mini-vacation at the Ritz Carlton Lake Oconee and it was perfect for strolling the grounds, going to lunch, and even relaxing in our room.  For my expecting mamas-to-be, these dresses are perfect for a growing belly, for nursing after pregnancy, and for staying cute well beyond the post-partum process. You can find my style at the link below, but there are many nightgown chic options to choose from. Let me know what you think about the trend in the comments below!
