Eyelet is one of those fabrics that just gets me every time. It has a girly quality to it that I think is so pretty in white or pastel shades for Spring and Summer. This year, I found the cutest eyelet dress from H&M that I thought looked much more expensive than the actual price tag.  I caught it on sale, and thought it was so cute that I actually got it in both black and white! While the dress might be sold out online, it can still be found in stores, so don’t be discouraged if you like this look. As shown, I recently wore it with lace-up Loeffler Randall heels and my Dior clutch. I didn’t photograph it in black, but believe me…it’s just as cute!

When you hear the word “suit,” it can sometimes inspire thoughts of dull work-wear. Well, I’m here to tell you that doesn’t have to be the case! Matching blazers and trousers in a fun print can turn an ordinary suit into a full-on fashion look. For my Summer suit, I opted for a bold stripe in a neutral/white combo.  I’ve worn this with a black bodysuit underneath (as shown), a plain white tee, and I can’t wait to wear it with a rock n’ roll band tee next.  Wear your suit with heels for a more elevated look, or keep it casual with some slides. I threw on my favorite leopard pair, courtesy of J.Crew. What do you dolls think? Would you rock a bold suit for Summer?

A common misconception about bloggers is that every outfit we post is a brand new look! Well, perhaps for some – but I love re-using pieces from past outfits, staples purchased years ago, and digging out pieces from the back of my wardrobe. That’s how real women dress, right? Sometimes it just takes a little creativity and some new accessories to make an old outfit new again.

For this look, I put a new spin on a jumpsuit you dolls have seen before. This time, instead of a fur stole I opted for my new (and affordable) blazer!

To make the look even more distinctive, I added my favorite new accessory of the season – a wool, wide-brimmed boater hat from Lack of Color. I feel a little Westworld in it, and I love it! Lack of Color has such a wide variety of styles, and they are quite affordable given the quality of the hats. This one, in particular, is still in stock, so make sure to check it out. I think I might need it in cream next!

While the jumpsuit is old, I’ve linked some similar styles on the market now. What do you dolls think? Tell me about your favorite items you like to re-use and re-wear!

Blazer: River Island.  Jumpsuit options: Halston Heritage,  H&M (under $50!),  DVF.  Hat: Lack of Color.
