Sequins are my favorite to wear all-year-round! But, sometimes the holidays get an extra dose, as we all want to dress up for holiday parties, NYE, and general festive occasions. In all honesty, I wore the cutest sequin Tibi look on Christmas day. But I’m sure you have all seen your share of burgundy or metallic sequins for the season. Instead, I thought it would be more impactful to show how I wear sequins when the holidays are done! Like I mentioned, color is key when it comes to sequins! They already give off a “party” vibe, so what you pair it with is equally as important when wanting to dress sequins down. In this case, I thought the pastel hues of my outfit are more of a welcome sign to spring than a nod to the holidays. Pairing sequins with a thick or chunky sweater is also a great way to make your look more casual. I would wear this to work, happy hour/dinner, or a weekend out on the town. When the weather warms up, I might swap the chunky sweater for a crisp, white collared shirt. What do you dolls think? Would you wear sequins as a part of your everyday wardrobe?
