It completely blows my mind that one year has already passed since my wedding day. Where does the time go?
As I look back on one of the best days of my life, I’m so grateful to all of our friends and family who flew from all over the world to be with us on our special day. It was truly a surreal experience to look around the room and see friends from different stages of life, all there to support us and share in our love. What a humbling experience.

Of course, the big day flashes by in a blur of lace, champagne and candlelight. From time to time, when I look back at the photos, I’m instantly filled with the same joy and gratitude of last September. I also fall in love all over again. From my dear Jason, to our guests, to the decor, to the fashion – it truly was a perfect day.

Speaking of fashion, I thought I’d share some select photos, showcasing our wedding style. I felt beautiful in my fitted Monique Lhuillier lace gown. I instantly fell in love with the corseted bodice and pearl buttons trailing all the way down my back. I felt like the dress was a classic silhouette, but also sexy and modern which showed off my curves.

Of course, being a groom who works in fashion – you know Jason would also be dressed to perfection. He wore a classic black Zegna tux with a velvet bowtie and velvet smoking slippers.

I hope you enjoy the photos and I hope to share more details on the blog in the future!

Cheers to 1 year and many more to come. Love you Jase! xo

Well it seems like a heatwave has suddenly hit New York City. The recent weather makes me feel like I’m back home in Florida. Ok, it’s not that bad…but close!

On my last trip back to FL, I made sure to pack breezy whites and short silhouettes to combat the heat. This white off-the-shoulder romper was one of my favorite looks that I wore for an afternoon in the park and a long, sunny lunch with my family. When I saw the romper on the hanger in the store, I thought it was just a long tunic – but imagine my surprise when I saw it was a the perfect one-piece I’ve been wanting for the season.

I love the off the shoulder, of course. But can we talk about the flared sleeves?! I love a good, dramatic sleeve (further proof). And then there are the tiny pearl embellishments that just add that little something extra to make this piece even more special. I love this addition to my collection of Summer whites, and I can’t wait to wear this out and about in the city!

They say home is where the heart is. And mine just so happens to be back in the beautiful state of Florida. Growing up surrounded by the river, beaches and greenery, I suppose I took the scenery for granted. But on my recent visit from New York – I stopped for a moment to smell the proverbial roses. The photos above were taken at the Club Continental, a gorgeous historic property where my family lives. The club itself is a destination for events and getaways – and from the photos, I’m sure you can see why!

For my trip home to Florida, I packed lots of white, breezy dresses and comfortable sandals. When I saw this maxi dress hanging in Anthropologie – I instantly fell in love. It was one of those situations where I didn’t have a place in mind to wear it, but I knew I had to have it, because it was so unique. The fabric is gorgeous with a subtle, lace embroidery that falls beautifully at ankle-skimming length. And of course, I love the sexy and dramatic neckline. I paired my new favorite summer dress with nude suede sandals from J. Crew. Let me just say, I’m obsessed with these, and they’re on sale! They’re both cute AND comfortable, and the grommets add a little bit of edge to any Summer outfit. I also love this colorful straw bag – perfect for trips to the market, or weekends at the beach!
