So I’ve got to be honest…it’s hard feeling great about yourself all the time! In recent months, I’ve been hard on myself about my weight, accomplishments, and just forget that sometimes I can be my own worst critic. I get upset when clothes I used to love don’t fit anymore, or I feel like I can’t wear what I want. Despite those times, I know that all I can do is take steps to try and be better every day. It’s not about my weight, but being healthy and making better decisions for the long-term. When I feel this way, it’s rare and amazing when you find an outfit that makes you feel extra glamorous and special. That was this dress for me. I saw it in the window of DvF and instantly fell in love. With its flowy, kimono-esque style and vibrant colors, I thought it would be super flattering no matter what shape or size the wearer. I love that the wrap waist is adjustable and the high-low silhouette makes it easy to wear with heels, or even gladiator flats for a more casual daytime look. This time, I opted for nude accessories and strapped heels for a birthday/Fathers’s Day brunch with my dad. I felt extra confident in the look, and sometimes I forget that’s the most important accessory of all! I can’t wait to wear it again, and think it’s definitely a “must pack” for the Hamptons later in the Summer. Do you dolls like the look? Is there an outfit that makes you feel extra confident or special? Tell me more in the comments below!

You guys know that I LOVE wearing white in the Summertime! And I have to admit, my first inclination is to first reach for an easy, breezy sundress. Last year, I took a leap with a white jumpsuit, so this year I’ve decided to go for something different…white separates. Enter these cream-colored pieces of perfection from Club Monaco. First of all, I’m absolutely obsessed with the dramatic fold-over neckline. I think it brings something a little more structured and “grown-up” to the off-the-shoulder trend. I can see myself wearing this top with trousers, cropped jeans, and even a full skirt for even more drama and a 50’s vibe. Speaking of drama, I’m in love with these cropped cream pants. The color and fabric scream sophistication, but the wide leg and half-tie belt make them seem cool and effortless.

I wore this look for a day of shopping around Buckhead and a trip to the museum. And I know what you’re thinking…no, I didn’t spill anything on it! To finish my look, I threw on my fav cat-eye sunnies from Dior and my new straw bag (from my recent lust list) – a gift, courtesy of Jason. The pop of pink really brought the casual Summer vibes to my daytime look, but you can always wear a clutch or evening bag to take this look from day to a white hot night!

What do you dolls think? Would you rock all white separates this Summer? Let me know your fav way to rock the color in the comments below!

Hey Dolls –

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Thanks again for bearing with me as Jason and I have been getting settled into our new home. But now – it’s time to get back into the swing of things with the blog. It’s so funny…my first week in Atlanta, and I was still wearing all black and burning to death in my leather jacket. I quickly realized that I needed to switch up my go-to’s in my wardrobe . That doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll abandon my black ripped jeans and t-shirts (that’s what I’m wearing today), but I definitely see my style and wardrobe choices updating slightly. Stay tuned to see how this plays out further!

Well, before I left New York, I got the chance to shoot one of my new favorite Spring/Summer tops from StyleWe. You might remember I rocked this dress in Miami, but I was saving the top for warmer weather in NYC. I love StyleWe, because they have some great fun styles that won’t break the bank. This top really spoke to me because I love the flirty and girly design (give me bows all day!!!), but combines menswear details such as classic 3/4 sleeves and a pin-stripe pattern. I opted for navy (it also comes in light blue), because I thought it would be killer with some white ripped jeans for the summer. For this look, I paired the top with studded L’Agence jeans (these are incredible) and a simple nude heel. The top’s fabric is super soft and comfortable, so I see myself rocking this one on repeat. With the stress of the move, Jason and I haven’t really had the chance to go out and re-explore the city. BUT, with the long weekend coming up, we’re really excited to hit the town, and I think I’ll be re-wearing this exact look!

Thank you StyleWe for partnering on this post!
