I’d like to think that my style is a nice mix of high-end and affordable fashion. I don’t mind investing in great classic pieces that might be on the pricier side (ex. A designer bag or a tailored blazer), but I also love a great deal! And as warmer weather is here, I’ve gone on a little bit of a sundress spree! I don’t think that a nice Summer dress is something that you have to spend a mini fortune on. And I’m glad that Target also agrees! Lately, they’ve been stepping up their fashion game and putting out pieces that the most stylish of fashion girls can’t resist.

This Summer, I picked up an army-green midi dress with buttons running down the front. The fabric is thin (but doesn’t feel cheap) and perfect for hot Summer days. For my look, I threw on a collared shirt to catch the breeze and my favorite straw boater hat.

So Fresh & So Clean

For me, Summer means white. I love the way it looks on my skin, and it just feels so fresh and so clean.

Ever year when warm weather approaches, I go on a little spree and buy a couple of new white dresses for the season. This year, this dress was one of my first purchases, and I haven’t stopped wearing it since it hit my wardrobe. An easy, breezy dress from Zara, I loved the oversized fit, the pockets, and the ruffled asymmetric hem. I’ve worn this with my new pair of gladiators for an all-white look, as well as some heels to make this feel more elevated. In this instance, I went casual with pops of blue in my accessories. I threw in my new Dior clutch as well as a lapis-lazuli necklace from Mejuri. This outfit is one that you’ll see me wear again and again!

A Drop of Sunshine

Since I’ve moved back down South, I’ve seen my style move towards brighter colors and away from my black/navy Rag & Bone uniform in Manhattan. I’m opting for color, print, and breezy silhouettes regardless of the season. And with Summer right on the horizon, my gravitation towards all things bright has gotten even stronger. Enter this Carolina K dress that feels like a drop of sunshine. With a full tiered skirt, I’ve worn it as a sundress (as shown), AND thrown a sweater over it to wear as a skirt to work. I’m all about flexibility in my garments these days. I can’t wait to wear this all Summer as a part II to my Lemonade-inspired look!
