In a surprise to me, I happened to be one of those pregnant women that didn’t gain too much weight. I didn’t buy any maternity clothes but rather worked with forgiving items in my existing wardrobe.  I also got a couple of new pieces that I made sure would be suitable for pregnancy and beyond. One of those items was this gorgeous Tibi dress that I could see fitting into my post-pregnancy lifestyle. The flattering shape works well for any body type and the length makes it appropriate for all seasons. I’ve thrown on a cute cropped jacket and worn it to dinner, but it’s also great for work! I love the pleated drop waist dress with the combination of menswear-inspired patterns. For my recent look, I paired it with strappy sandals and my new favorite clutch from Lafayette 148. The marigold satin really adds a pop of color and a feeling of luxury to the look. You can find me wearing both of these items on repeat!

Dress: Tibi. Clutch: Lafayette 148. Sandals: Zara (old). Similar: Gianvito Rossi.

Has anyone else been influenced by Bridgerton fashion? I’m talking pretty dresses, dainty jewelry, and lots of pastel and sparkle! I can’t get enough! And when I saw this gorgeous Zimmermann sundress on sale, I knew I had to have this feminine piece in my wardrobe. I love the light linen material, button details all the way down the front, and the removable straps for extra versatility. The pastel color scheme and climbing floral print along the hem also add an extra sweetness that makes this dress perfect for Spring. I’ll wear this with a cardigan for these transitional months and can’t wait to wear it strapless over the summer.

For its first wear during a weekend getaway, I opted for jeweled heels to add a little something special for date night.  All I’m missing now are some more warm days for another chance to wear it!

Dress: Zimmermann. Shoes: Manolo Blahnik.

Statement Sleeves

Isn’t it funny how certain styles resurface over time? Take the statement sleeves on this silk midi dress by Aje. I instantly fell in love with this feminine and eye-catching look.  While this designer is known for voluminous sleeves, these are quite unique.  The dress combats an 80’s prom aesthetic with modern touches like the intricate knot detail at the waist, a peekaboo cutout, and a drip-dye color scheme of apple green and ink to add more edge.  It’s definitely not for everyday wear, but for a special occasion, I was obsessed. I loved pairing my dress with Rupert Sanderson heels and a Lafayette 148 collar necklace!

What do you dolls think? Would you rock the statement sleeve?
